Our Story
Our History
The teams we had played against had been playing at Toombul Indoor Centre for many years.
Never the less, with strong passion and extrememly competitive players, we remained in this division and took out the Competition. The Grand Final game had attracted so much attention that the entire centre was watching! Final score 36-35, Chiefies.
The name "Chiefies" was originated by the Women of our family. Men are known as Chiefs and us Ladies are known as Chiefies (also known as Chieftains)
Our original Chiefies team was formed in 2009 when two of our founders started a team at Toombul Indoor Centre. Being a very social team we had asked to be placed in last division, soon to learn we were accidently placed in division three.
